‘Jagga Jasoos’ shows a growth on the second day, ‘MOM’ too does well

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif-starrer ‘Jagga Jasoos’ took a slow start at the box office. The movie collected Rs 8.25 crore on day one. But, as the film has received mostly positive reviews, the collection showed a good jump on the second day.

On Saturday, the film collected Rs 11 crore approx. taking the two-day collection to Rs 19.25 crore. Well, it needs to grow today and have a great weekend. Not just the weekend, the film needs to continue to do well on week days too as the budget of the film is quite high and to make it hit the collection has to be steady. On the other hand, Sridevi-starrer ‘MOM’ too is doing well at the box office in its second weekend. On its second Saturday, the movie collected Rs 2.25 crore approx. taking the till date total to Rs 26.25 crore. But, the problem with this film is also the budget. Reportedly, the movie is made with the budget of Rs 45-50 crore. So, though the collection is good, we doubt if Sridevi-starrer can be credited as a hit.
