‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ Box-Office Report: Saif Ali Khan and Alaya F starrer sees growth on Day 2

Saif Ali Khan and Alaya F starrer ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ hit the screens on January 31. The film didn’t open with good numbers on Day 1. It earned only Rs. 3.24 crore. On Day 2, i.e on Saturday, it saw slight growth as it minted Rs. 4.55 crore. So, the total collection stands at Rs. 7.79 crore.

Film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to share the Day 2 collection of ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’. He wrote, “#JawaaniJaaneman gathers speed on Day 2… Being patronised by its target audience [metros]… Trending much better than #SaifAliKhan’s previous *solo* movies [#Chef, #Kaalakaandi, #Baazaar, #LaalKaptaan]… Fri 3.24 cr, Sat 4.55 cr. The movie marked the Bollywood debut of Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaya F and critics and audience have raved her performance and some have even said that she has done better than even Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. The movie has been directed by Nitin Kakkar.

Bollywood Bubble reviewed the movie and wrote, “If you are looking to laugh your gut out then this film is a must-watch”.

The movie is expected to pocket a good amount today and it needs to be trending this weekend. On February 7, Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani starrer ‘Malang’ is releasing, so in that case ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ might face competition.
