The moment Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara was released, it was certain the movie would smash some box office records. This created huge momentum on social media after the release. Fans couldn’t stop raving about the movie as they were sharing their reviews on Jawan on the internet. Nevertheless, Jawan started with a bang by earning Rs 65 crores (estimated) on day 1 at the box office. This takes the top spot in the highest opening day of Bollywood movies of 2023 and of all time.

Jawan worldwide box office collection

Jawan has beaten the first-day collections of Sunny Deol Gadar as well as his own movie Pathaan. As we speak of the box office collection, Jawan is also doing quite well in the worldwide markets as well. Shah Rukh Khan’s movie earned Rs 129.60 crores on day 1; however, Jawan sees a slight dip on day 2. As per the early estimates, Jawan has collected Rs 110.87 crore from the Hindi-language release on day 2, says Sacnilk. With the latest number, the total comes to Rs 240.47 crores at the worldwide box office.

Earlier, trade Analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted Jawan is expected to cross Rs 200 gross across the globe. He took to Twitter and wrote, “#Jawan has crossed Rs 200 Crs gross at the WW Box office in 2 days.” Well, for now, we are waiting for the official figures to come.

Shah Rukh thanks fans post Jawan release

SRK took to his Twitter and thanked his fans for showering Jawan with love and warmth. He wrote, “Thank you for all the love and appreciation for #Jawan!! Stay safe and happy… Please keep sending in the pics and videos of all of you enjoying at the movies…. And I will be back soon to see all of them! Until then… Party with Jawan in the theatres!! Lots of love and gratitude!

Directed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Ridhi Dogra. The movie also has Deepika Padukone in a cameo.
