It is growing from pole to pole and the audience’s love is just rising. Jawan has ended its 8-day extended first week at the box office with figures close to Rs 700 crores worldwide.
Jawan first week worldwide box office collection
The figures of Jawan’s collection tell the story of its victory. By Wednesday, the film had collected Rs 660 crores at the worldwide box office. And now with the Thursday collection, the film has closed its extended first week just a little shy of Rs 700 crores. According to the figures released by the makers, the worldwide total of Jawan stands at Rs 696.67 crores after 8 days.
It’s clear that the film will cross the Rs 700 crore mark on Friday. But the collections of the next 3 days, i.e. the second weekend, will determine the trend of the film’s lifetime collection. The word-of-mouth for Jawan has been superb, that has also helped the film grow. What works in Jawan’s favour is that their is no other big Hindi film releasing this week.
On the domestic front too, Jawan has had a dream and record run. In the 8-day extended week, the film hasn’t collected less than Rs 20 crores on even one day. The total Hindi collection for Jawan stands at Rs 347.98 crores.
