Jigra box office: Alia Bhatt starrer starts on a decent note on day 1; to see a hike this weekend

Jigra starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina has garnered a good response from fans due to the emotional connect. Jigra which was released on October 11 has started on a decent note at the box office. Speaking about the day 1 collection, Jigra earned Rs 4.55 crore at the box office. The Navratri celebration in many places will soar high in plexes. Moreover, the festival also boost its collection as the action thriller will grow over the weekend owing to its positive word of mouth.

Bollywood Bubble gave 3.5 stars to Vasan Bala’s directorial venture. A part of the review read, “Jigra is a must-watch in theatres, to enjoy Alia Bhatt in her Mama Bear era as she delivers both an emotional and action-packed performance. While Alia did deliver a commendable performance with emotional intensity, overall, the film falls short owing to a predictable screenplay.”
