Satyameva Jayate 2 Box Office: John Abraham starrer opens with low numbers on Day 1

John Abraham starrer Satyameva Jayate 2 was released on Thursday, November 26. The movie is directed by Milap Zaveri and also stars Divya Khosla Kumar. On Day 1 of the release, Satyameva Jayate 2 saw a not-so-decent opening, in times of the pandemic. The film has opened with low numbers on Day 1 at the box office. John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar starrer has collected a total of Rs 3.60 crore on day one of the release. The movie was released in theatres with Sooryavanshi and Bunty Aur Babli 2 playing in cinemas halls.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported that Satyameva Jayate 2 opened with low numbers at the box office on Day one. He shared a post and reported, “#SatyamevaJayate2 registers low numbers on Day 1… Multiplexes weak… Single screens of mass circuits better, but not enough to compensate… Going forward, will need to grow on Day 2, since it faces another mass-centric film [#Antim]… Thu ₹ 3.60 cr. #India biz. (sic).”

Meanwhile, John had shared the trailer video of the film and given fans and followers a glimpse of his upcoming movie. In the caption, the actor had written, “CORRUPTION karenge DHER, Bharat Maa ke TEEN SHER! Trailer Out Now! #SatyamevaJayate2 in cinemas on Thursday, 25th November. (sic).”

Bollywood Bubble rated the film with one star and said, “Satyameva Jayate 2 is a slow torture of less than two and a half hour which will want you to buy a paracetamol immediately.”

On the work front, the actor has Ek Villain 2 and Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in his kitty.
