Satyaprem Ki Katha box office: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer crosses Rs 65 crore mark in second weekend

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer Satyaprem Ki Katha is gradually growing its box office collection each day. After a good extended first week, the film grew over the second weekend. And now, after its second Sunday’s collection, the film has crossed the Rs 65 crore mark at the box office.

Satyaprem Ki Katha 2nd weekend box office

The film had a low collection on second Friday with Rs 2.85 crores. However, it grew by 70 percent on Saturday collecting Rs 4.75 crores. On Sunday, it showed a further jump as it garnered Rs 5.25 crores at the ticket counters. With this, the total box office collection has reached Rs 66.06 crores for the film.

2nd Thursday (Day 8) – Rs. 3 crores

2nd Friday (Day 9) – Rs. 2.85 crores

2nd Sunday (Day 11) – Rs 5.25 crores

Total: Rs. 66.06 crores

SatyaPrem Ki Katha is directed by Sameer Vidwans and marks a collaboration between Sajid Nadiadwala’s NGE and Namah Pictures. It also features Supriya Pathak, Gajraj Rao and Shikha Talsania amongst others. The film opened on June 29, 2023 to good reviews, especially for Kartik and Kiara’s performances. The word of mouth helped the film grow.

Last week’s release, Vidya Balan starrer Neeyat hasn’t been able to gather huge numbers at the ticket counter. It would also help SPKK to grow further over the next week. What also works in the film’s favour is that no other big film is releasing until July 28. Karan Johar comes with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in July end. Thus, it gives SPKK almost a month’s run to gather more moolah at the box office.
