SatyaPrem Ki Katha box office report: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer sees impressive 45% growth on day 3, sets the stage for a spectacular weekend

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer SatyaPrem Ki Katha have managed to capture the heart of the audience and lure them to the theatres. The movie was a mid-week release on Thursday (June 29) on the occasion of Eid. It had a decent opening at the box office but saw a slight drop on a working Friday. But, on Saturday the movie witnessed a growth of 45 per cent in numbers and collected Rs 10.10 crores.

SatyaPrem Ki Katha Day 3 box office collection

Even though it was a mid-week release on Thursday and the occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha, fans did prove that they were waiting for this movie. The box numbers opened at Rs. 9.23 crores on day 1. Followed by a Friday, SPKK saw a slight drop in numbers but in the end, it was not so bad. The box office numbers only reached up to Rs. 7 crores. 

The movie garnered immense popularity among people of all ages and families, generating strong positive reviews and spreading through word of mouth. Also ratings from the film critics and fans reviews has helped in the growth of the movie. As a result, it experienced a remarkable 45% growth on Saturday, accumulating a collection of Rs. 10.10 crores. With this impressive momentum, the film is on track for a fantastic weekend box office performance. The storyline and the performances have managed to captivate the attention of the audience.

Thursday – Day 1 : Rs 9.25 crores

Friday – Day 2: Rs 7 crores

Saturday – Day 3: Rs 10.10 crores

Total: Rs 26.40 crore

While the movie is receiving all praise from fans and critics alike, a Sunday is remaining. This Sunday will be exciting to see how much money did SatyaPrem Ki Katha mints at the box office on the first weekend of its release. 

SatyaPrem Ki Katha Review

Bollywood Bubble gave the movie 3.5 stars. A part of the review read, “I would say that SatyaPrem Ki Katha is a decent attempt on telling a poignant issue. It has its flaws at points but Kartik and Kiara make the film a worthy experience with their performances. Watch it for Kiara’s excellence if nothing else.”

SatyaPrem Ki Katha is directed by Sameer Vidhwans and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora. The movie marks Kartik and Kiara’s reunion after their hit film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Apart from the movie boasts a star-studded cast including Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randeria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nimrite Saawant and Shikha Talsania.
