Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 box office: Kartik Aaryan starrer has a fantastic second day

Actors Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani are riding high with the success of their recently released film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film opened well at the box office, giving their biggest career opening day. The opening day collections of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was around Rs 14.11 crore nett and now the film has collected Rs 18.34 crore nett on Saturday, thus making the grand total to Rs 32.45 crore nett at the box office. Anees Bazmee’s directorial venture clashed with Kangana Ranaut starrer Dhaakad which is not performing well at the box office. 

As Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 hits the ball out of the park on Day 2, it is now eyeing to cross the 50 crore mark on its first opening weekend. It is surely ending the dry spell at the box office. Just for your information, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa sequel has also comfortably surpassed the day 2 box office collections of a few Bollywood films like Gangubai Kathiawadi (Rs 12.50 crores), The Kashmir Files (Rs 8.25 crores), Runway 34 (Rs 4.50 crore), Jersey (Rs 5.50 crores), Bachchhan Paandey (Rs 12 crores), Jayeshbhai Jordaar (Rs 4 crores).

Meanwhile, blockbuster films like Sooryavanshi, RRR and KGF 2 remained untouched as their day 2 collections are bigger than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Bollywood Bubble gave the Anees Bazmee directed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 a rating of 4 stars in its review. An excerpt from the movie review reads: “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is thrilling and thoroughly entertaining. Though the horror element seems like a cameo, the entire film has a mass appeal. It is Kartik and Tabu who carry the film on their shoulders. His fatafati performance and Tabu’s sheer par excellence work will surely make Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 a blockbuster.”
