KGF 2 Box office: Yash starrer turns out to be a monster, Hindi version alone all set to collect over 50 crore on Day 1

Yash starrer KGF 2 has released today, on April 14 and just like the theme of the film, it started with a bang at the box office. That’s right. KGF: Chapter 2 has now shattered all the records as the film has already the hit 50 crore mark on its opening day, as per the early estimates. Going by the latest trends, it becomes the first film to achieve the feat post pandemic. According to a report in Box office India, the Hindi version of the film has touched 50 crore nett and there will be another 1 crore nett or maybe more coming from the South. 

As per the reports, All records have practically fallen in every circuit and even the biggest circuit Mumbai will beat the previous best by around at least 10% and may even 20%. Though this is an early estimate, the KGF 2 day 1 collection has also surpassed the first day collections of Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer Baahubali 2: The Conclusion which minted Rs 41 crores at the box office.

Going by the latest trends, the film has already surpassed the first day collections of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi which collected ₹ 26.29 crores, Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR which raked in ₹ 20.07 crores, on the third position we have Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey with ₹ 13.25 crores, Ranveer Singh starrer 83 had minted ₹ 12.64 crores whereas Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi collected Rs ₹ 10.50 cores on their opening days.

Bollywood Bubble gave 3.5 stars to KGF: Chapter 2, calling it a mass entertainer. KGF 2 starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Sriniddhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon is directed by Prasanth Neel. The film is released on April 14, 2022.
