Khel Khel Mein, Vedaa Box Office: Akshay Kumar & John Abraham starrers grow a bit on Day 3; earn Rs 5.65 crore combined

August 15, 2024 saw the release of 3 Bollywood films. While the Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 is creating a storm at the box office, the other two B’town films – Akshay Kumar’s comedy Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s actioner Vedaa are drawing in some audiences. Read on to know how much both films have earned at the box office on Day 3.

Khel Khel Mein Box Office

As per the box office reports, Mudassar Aziz’s comedy drama – which stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Taapsee Pannu, Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal in pivotal roles, saw a significant rise in its income from Day 2 to Day 3. The film reportedly collected Rs 3.40 crore on Saturday, taking its total 3-day income to Rs 11.05 crore.

Day-wise breakdown

Thursday – Day 1:  Rs 5.23 crore

Friday – Day 2: Rs 2.42 crore

Saturday – Day 3: Rs 3.40 crore

Total: Rs 11.05 crore

Vedaa Box Office

The John Abraham, Sharvari, Abhishek Banerjee and Ashish Vidyarthi-led Vedaa also saw a minimal rise in its box office collection on Day 3 when compared to Day 2. The actioner – which is inspired by true events, collected Rs 2.25 crore on Saturday, taking its total to Rs 10.75 crore.

Thursday – Day 1: Rs 6.75 crore

Friday – Day 2: Rs 1.75 crore

Saturday – Day 3: Rs 2.25 crores

Total: Rs 10.75 crore

As per this report, Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein have done a collective box office business of Rs 5.65 crore on Day 3 and a total of Rs 21.80 crore over the last three days.
