‘M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story’ holds strong on day two

Amidst all the hullabaloo, Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic ‘M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story’, starring Sushant Singh Rajput, released this Friday, driving fans of the legendary captain mad with frenzy. Nearly every show and cinema hall was booked as everyone wanted to live the story of Dhoni on silver screen, and relived the legendary winning moments on screen. Did it live up to those expectations on box office? Yes, the first two days’ collections certainly spell so.

After having a smashing first day collection, ‘M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story’ stayed strong on its second day too, earning Rs 18.75 crore, taking the total collection to Rs 38.75 crore in two days, which is thumping good.

Given the fact that apart from ‘PINK’, all the recent releases have crashed at box office, the collections of ‘M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story’ are a welcome respite. Let’s see if the successful run comes to a halt with the release of ‘Mirzya’ next week, or this one makes any records.
