Manjhi – The Mountain Man dismal three day collections

Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer ‘Manjhi – The Mountain Man’ released on August 21st. The movie though appreciated did not open to packed houses. A Ketan Mehta directorial Manjhi is a biopic based on the true story of a laborer called Dashradh Manjhi who carves a path in between a huge mountain for the love of his late wife.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,

The low budget film faced the hurdle of being leaked online, 10 days before the official release. The film was downloaded and shared multiple times before it came to the notice of the producers. This could be the reason behind it’s dismal collection at the box office.
