Master Box-Office Collection Day 5: Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi starrer continues its winning streak

Master, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, is getting a terrific response at the box-office. Also, it is going strong overseas. Despite 50 % occupancy in theatres, this Tamil action-thriller has set new records; giving a ray of hope to the filmmakers, distributors and the exhibitors. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also stars Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj. Master is the first mega-movie release for India since the Covid-19 lockdown in March 2020. It has got positive reviews from the critics and audiences are also loving the actioner.

Sharing the day 5 box-collection of Master, Trade analyst Kaushik LM tweeted, “#Master TN breakeven share is around 60 CR. The TERRIFIC opening 5 days makes the job very easy hereon; majority of the BE share has been covered already #ThalapathyVijay’s consistency & range are incredible”

In another tweet, he wrote that Master has entered the ‘list of all-time Top10 TN grosses already’.

Earlier today, in a tweet, Kaushik LM wrote that Master is the ‘Global No.1 film in terms of total gross collections in the past 5 days’ since its release.

There are reports that Kabir Singh producer Murad Khetani is gearing up for the Hindi remake of Master with Endemol Shine. As per reports, they have bought the rights for a hefty amount. Till now, nothing has been confirmed yet.
