Tiger Shroff and Nidhhi Agerwal-starrer ‘Munna Michael’ had opened to a lot of hype, thanks to Tiger’s magical moves and the presence of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Additionally, people were eager to see how starlet Nidhhi nails the big screen. However, the film had an average opening of Rs 6.62 crore at box office, on Friday.
While many expected it would be able to pull off during the weekend, the film stayed on the same range on its first weekend. On weekend, it had a collective collection of Rs 14 crore ( Rs 6 crore and Rs 8 crore), taking the total to Rs 20.62 crore. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has witnessed a massive drop on its second weekend. It has minted an amount of Rs 5.65 crore. It now stands with a total collection of Rs 48.77 crore.
Apart from them, Alankrita Shrivastava’s ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ is staying true to its niche and has minted Rs 5.20 crore so far. It is soon believed to overcome its budget (Rs 6 crore).
