Taapsee Pannu-starrer ‘Naam Shabana‘ did manage to get some positive response from the critics. With some kind words pouring in for Taapsee’s performance in the film, ‘Naam Shabana’ was expected to make big at the box office. But, unfortunately, it failed to do wonders at the box office.
‘Naam Shabana’ had an extremely slow start at the box office, but then, it did catch up some pace over the weekend. The first weekend scored well for ‘Naam Shabana’, thanks to the positive word of mouth coming from the audience. But again, it witnessed a drop on its first Monday. Thankfully, the first Tuesday saw some hike in the collection. As per reports, ‘Naam Shabana’ minted approximately Rs 2.50 crore on its first Tuesday.
The collection is better than that of Monday, thanks to Rama Navami. Being a holiday, audiences flocked the theatres, in turn profiting ‘Naam Shabana’. Total collection of the film stands at Rs 22.50 crore.
Now this week, we have two films releasing. ‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laddoo Deewana’ and ‘Mirza Juuliet’ will fight it out at the box office. Let’s see if that affects the collections of ‘Naam Shabana’.
