New Friday releases fare very badly at the box office

The new Friday releases fared very badly at the box office. None of them lived up to the expectations. ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ saw a drop by 50% from Friday earning around Rs 45 lakh on Monday. This makes the business of the film to Rs 4.25 crore and the first week will be around Rs 5.50 crore.

‘Junooniyat’ saw a drop of 55% from Friday and managed to earn only Rs 25 lakh on Monday. The film’s total 4 day earnings stand at Rs 2.40 crore and might do around Rs 3 crore in its first week.

The movies have not been able to earn profits owing to such poor collections. With the political drama ‘Shorgul’ to hit the screens on Friday followed by Eid release ‘Sultan’, these films will not manage to gain much after Friday releases.
