Padmaavat: The movie holds very well at the box office on its second Friday

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ is doing very well at the box office. On its second Friday, the movie has showed a drop, but then looking at the scenario of the film not being shown in three states, the collection is quite good.

The movie collected Rs 9.50 crore on its second Friday, taking the till date total to Rs 169 crore. If the film shows a good jump today and on Sunday, then it might reach 200 crore at the end of the second weekend.

‘Padmaavat’ has only this week to collect as next week Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘PadMan’ will release, so the SLB directorial will have to give away the screens it is holding as of now. But, if moviegoers prefer to watch ‘Padmaavat’ over ‘PadMan’, then the latter might face a tough competition.
