‘PadMan’ FAILS to beat Akshay’s ‘Toilet-Ek Prem Katha’ by the end of 1st week

Akshay Kumar shifted the release date of his recently released ‘PadMan’ to avoid clashing with ‘Padmaavat’. Well, his decision seems to have worked in favor of the film. Even though the film may not have done wonders at the box office, ‘PadMan’ has collected a decent amount in one week. As per reports, the one week collection of ‘PadMan’ is Rs 62 crore.

But if compared to Akshay’s previous releases, ‘PadMan’ has failed to achieve great heights. His last release before ‘PadMan’ was ‘Toilet-Ek Prem Katha’ and this film had collected Rs 94.21 crore at the box office by the end of first week.
