Shoojit Sircar’s recent release ‘Piku’ starring Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan witnessed a fine first day Box Office collection. The film has been applauded by the critics and viewers alike. Having opened in around 1300 screens, Deepika Padukone’s Piku made maximum business in the multiplexes, especially in Mumbai and Pune. On it’s first day it has collected Rs 5.5 crores.
Positive reviews and good word of mouth has helped ‘Piku’ at the Box Office and even the weekend collections have been good too.
The first weekend Collection of ‘Piku’ has been good. After doing a business of Rs 5.32 crores on its opening day. The family drama made a business of Rs 8.70 crores on Saturday, earning Rs 14.02 crores in just two days. And on Sunday it made a Box Office collection of Rs 8.50 crores. Thus, Piku’s Box Office business has crossed Rs 20 crores in just three days.
