‘Raabta’ emerges victorious over ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ on day one at box office

This Friday, we had two films clashing at the box office. Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Raabta’ collided with Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan’s ‘Behen Hogi Teri’. Both of them received rave reviews from the critics, but as per box office statistics, ‘Raabta’ has clearly emerged victorious over the other on day 1. Dinesh Vijan directorial ‘Raabta’ raked in approximately 4.75 crore at the box office on its opening day. The number is certainly average, but is better than that of ‘Behen Hogi Teri’. Rajkummar Rao’s film minted approximately 25-30 lakhs at the box office, which is way below average.

Looks like Sushant and Kriti’s crackling chemistry has worked wonders for the ‘Raabta’. The film is all about eternal love that lasts for infinity. Plus, the reincarnation plot has given a good twist to the story. On the other hand, ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ is a story of a man who is in love with a girl next door, but is scared to express the same.
