Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam finally hit the theatres worldwide on March 11. Radha Krishna Kumar directorial, created a lot of hype and buzz prior to its release but it failed to live up to the expectations of the audience and critics. Even it got a lukewarm response at the box-office on Day 1.
As per film trade analyst, Ramesh Bala, Radhe Shyam’s Hindi version pocketed approx Rs 5 crore. His tweet read: “#RadheShyam’s Hindi version ‘s early estimates for All-India Day 1 – ₹ 5 Cr Nett..” Sharing the collection in the USA, he wrote, “#RadheShyam crosses the $1 Million mark in #USA. 4th entry for #Prabhas in the Million Dollar Club after #Baahubali , #Baahubali2 and #Saaho.” It started off well in Australia as well.

As per a Box Office India report, Radhe Shyam had a slow start in the non-Telugu speaking states. But the Telugu version of the film minted Rs 30 crore on its opening day.
Bollywood Bubble gave the film 2.5 star rating. An excerpt from the review read: The film wastes a good amount of the first half to establish the individual characters and their bond, but somehow the disconnect between the characters and chemistry makes it boring and passable. The second half though starts on an interesting note, loses steam eventually.
Apart from Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, Radhe Shyam also starred Bhagyashree, Sathyaraj, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Murali Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Riddhi Kumar, Flora Jacob, Sasha Chettri.
