‘Raees’ inches towards Rs 50 crore club by the end of day 2

Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ has definitely set the box office record on fire. Despite having a midweek release, it has managed to attract the masses to the movie theatres. On day 1, ‘Raees’ had minted approximately Rs 20.25 crore at the box office. This trend continued even on day 2 and the film managed to gather approximately Rs 26.25 crore at the box office.

We witness a slight jump in the numbers as day 2 was a holiday being the Republic day. Masses showed up in huge numbers with theatres running houseful. Not only in India, even abroad, Shah Rukh Khan fans are showering much love to ‘Raees’.

With this, the two day collection of ‘Raees’ stands at Rs 46.50 crore. Just one more day and ‘Raees’ would cross the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office. Isn’t that great?

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, ‘Raees’ marked the Bollywood debut of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. She plays the role of SRK’s love interest in the film while Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the role of a cop.
