Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar crosses 100 crores on day 11 at box office

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor is keeping the audience entertained at the theatres as the film has achieved a milestone at the box office. Well, TJMM scored a century and not out. The movie crossed 100 crores on day 11 at the domestic box office and this does call for a celebration. 

The film raked in Rs 6.03 crores on Saturday and now the total Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is Rs 101.98 crores at the box office. For the unversed, the movie received mixed responses from the audience. While some absolutely enjoyed the new concept of romantic comedy and Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor’s chemistry, there were many who criticised Luv Ranjan’s directorial venture. Nevertheless, the film has entered the 100 crore club regardless which is a commendable feat.

Week 2

Friday: Rs 1.96 crores 

Saturday: Rs 3.41 crores 

Sunday: RS 6.03 crores 

Total: Rs 101.98 crores

Bollywood Bubble gave 4 stars to the movie. A part of the review read, “From the first frame to the last, TJMM will keep you hooked and entertained. It is a full on masala romcom entertainer that Bollywood had been missing. It is not a landmark film but it is unforgettable. You would feel compelled to step into the theatres one more time after seeing it once. Ranbir and Shraddha will put their spell on you. These two together are fire on screen.”

Directed by Luv Ranjan, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor was released on March 18. The movie also stars Boney Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Anubhav Singh Bassi.
