Animal Worldwide box office collections: Ranbir Kapoor starrer continues to dominate as it earns Rs 784 crores in 14 days

Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna has successfully completed its second week. Ever since the movie was released, Animal has managed to beat several movies and their milestones—the movies include Baahubali 2, PK, Jawan, Gadar 2 and many more. The movie is continuing its glorious run and is dominating the box office. Now, Animal has earned Rs 784.45 crores in 14 days at the worldwide box office collections.

Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor managed to beat Aamir Khan starrer PK on the thirteenth day which collected Rs 769.89 crores globally. Now it is to be seen if the film will beat Aamir Khan’s other movie Secret Superstar which earned Rs 875.78 crores in worldwide markets.

Bobby Deol on playing a villain in Animal

Several fans loved Bobby as a villain. However, he didn’t feel like his character was the villain but he saw it differently. “I didn’t think of my character as a villain. I saw my character as a child who was traumatised when he saw his grandfather committing suicide, so he loses his voice. He swears to avenge his grandfather’s death, he is very family-oriented. He is also romantic, he has three wives, he can kill and also get killed for his family,” the actor told AajTak.

While many loved the action and Ranbir Kapoor in Animal, many thought it was a problematic movie. They slammed the makers for creating a violent movie like Animal. Despite all the negative comments, Animal collections are only getting stronger at the domestic as well as worldwide box office. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
