‘Rangoon’ box office collection day 2: The film shows no growth

Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ started on a very slow note at the box office on Friday. It collected Rs 5.06 crore on day one. It was expected that as the reviews are mostly positive the film will grow, but the day two collection of the film is disappointing.

The movie starring Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor has collected Rs 5 crore approx. taking the two-day collection to Rs 10.06 crore approx. It is so disappointing to see that a content-driven film like ‘Rangoon’ that stars A-list actors is doing such a bad business at the box office.

On the other hand, on its third Saturday, Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Jolly LL.B 2’ collected Rs 2 crore approx. to finally reach the 100 crore club. The total collection of the movie is approx. Rs 100.23 crore.

‘The Ghazi Attack’ starring Rana Daggubati has collected Rs 1 crore on its second Saturday. The collection of the film till date is Rs 13.50 crore.
