Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani overseas collection: Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer becomes sixth-highest grosser in North America after Pathaan

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani continues to remain one of the much-loved Bollywood films. After completing its successful theatrical run, the film is now streaming on the OTT platform. But considering Karan Johar’s overseas track record, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is still doing great business at the box office across key territories of the UK, Middle East, and Canada in over 25 screens.

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s family entertainer has crossed US$ 21mn in overseas markets. In North America, it has grossed close to US$ 10mn making it the 6th highest of all time after Pathaan, Jawan, Dangal, Padmaavat & PK. Talking about UK collection, it stands as No 9 film of all time, grossing £2.4mn, making Karan Johar the only Director with 3 films in Top 10 of all time in UK (My Name Is Khan, K3G being the other 2). While Gulf is at US$ 4.2mn and Australia contributed with A$1.9mn, total collection from rest of the world stands at US$ 4mn.

The family entertainer was released in theatres on 28 July 2023. Apart from Alia and Ranveer, the movie also boasts a stellar cast of veteran actors. This includes Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Shabana Azmi. In addition, the film also stars Tota Roy Chowdhury, and Churni Ganguly in supporting roles. The story of the film is penned by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy. While its music has been composed by Madan Mohan and Pritam.
