‘Rock On 2’ box office collection does not get better on day 3

With utmost enthusiasm, the ‘Magik’ band from ‘Rock On’ comprising of Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli made a comeback with the sequel ‘Rock On 2’ , but unfortunately, it has failed miserably at the box office. Despite getting two new entrants, Shraddha Kapoor and Shashank Arora, to the band, it has failed to make a good impression at box office numbers.

On the first Sunday, the film managed to earn only Rs 2.50 crore approximately at the box office. The figure is similar to that of Saturday.

The film may have been affected by demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes. As people are running low on cash, the theatres are running empty. Plus, the film also has a slight competition from the Hollywood film ‘Dr Strange’ that received great reviews from the critics.

Let’s see what does the coming week hold for ‘Rock On 2’.
