Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani continues to entertain the audience in its second week as well. After crossing the 100 crore mark within 10 days of its release, the film managed to have a strong hold at the box office on weekdays as well. The film was released on 28 July 2023, and have been constantly receiving positive response. After raking in Rs 4.30 cr on Monday (Day 11), the collection of Day 12 is out. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani shines on the second Tuesday at the box office.

Karan Johar directorial opened with a massive Rs 11.10 crore at the box office on July 28. It managed to enter the elite 100 crore club on Day 10 and even in the second week, the film is standing strong at the box office. It has managed to collect Rs 4.50 crores on Day 12. The film’s total collection now stands at Rs 113.88 crore. RRKPK witnessed an overall occupancy of 15.87 percent on Tuesday, August 8.

With this collection, the film has emerged as the fifth highest grosser of 2023. Before this, Pathaan (Rs 543.05 crore), The Kerala Story (Rs 242.20 crore), Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (Rs 149.05 crore), and Adipurush (Rs 135.04 crore) were the highest grosser in 2023.
Karan Johar expresses gratitude as the film collects Rs 200 crore globally
Apart from the domestic market, the film is having a strong hold in the overseas market as well. Globally, the film has collected more than Rs 200 crore. Elated by the overwhelming response, filmmaker Karan Johar has penned a heartfelt note thanking the cast and crew of the film. A part of the note read, “Prior to the release of this film, I felt that at any point of time I would need an IV drip and was near collapse!! The question I asked myself was – is it the long 7 year gap? Or the anxiety built over the last 3 years. Or the fact that we live in an ambiguous box office time. Whatever the real reason is – I was a bonafide mess! But the Friday, 28th of July, I felt nothing but gratitude, validation and sheer joy. This film is truly a product of team energy & love.”
