Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani continues to have a succesful run even in its third week. The film has raked in Rs 300 crore globally and emerged as fourth highest grosser after Pathaan, Gadar 2, and The Kerela story.

Ever since the flick was released, audiences and film critics have been appreciating it. With positive word-of-mouth, as well as stellar performances the film garnered great footfall at the theatres. Domestically, the film has emerged as one of the top 5 highest-grossers of 2023. Even in its third week, the film has continued to be rock steady, despite facing competition from two big releases. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark and has emerged as the fourth-highest grosser globally.

The family entertainer is not only receiving thunderous response domestically, but it has also managed to create waves in the overseas market. It has managed to rake in Rs 300 cr globally. With this, the film has become the fourth highest grosser after Pathaan (Rs 1050.3 cr), Gadar 2 (Rs 364.57 cr), and The Kerela Story (Rs 303.97 cr). Well, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that Rocky and Rani’s charm has worked on the world.

Karan Johar has had a remarkable track record overseas. The maverick has delivered some of the biggest blockbusters of Hindi cinema like Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, My Name is Khan, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. And that streak only continues with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Elated by the response, Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle and shared the news with his followers. He wrote, “To know that our prem kahaani has reached the corners of the world and hearts…feeling humbled & grateful and especially for all the love you have given to #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani!!! Thank you (sic)”.

Talking about its domestic collection, RARKPK has surpassed the lifetime collections of Adipurush and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan to become the fifth-highest-grosser of the year in India after Pathaan (Rs 543.05 crore), Gadar 2 (Rs 228.98 crore), The Kerala Story (Rs 242.20 crore), Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (Rs 149.05 crore).
