RRR box office: Ram Charan, Jr NTR starrer beats Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi lifetime collection

RRR is creating momentum at the box office. The Hindi version of the film has crossed the 100 crore mark in just 5 days and now the film is just a couple of crores away to enter the 200 crore club now. As the film is marching towards the 200 crore mark, on its way, Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer has beaten Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi lifetime business. That’s right. The lifetime collection of the Rohit Shetty directorial venture is Rs 196 crores and now RRR has surpassed the film.

Talking about the second Tuesday collections, the SS Rajamouli directorial venture has collected Rs 6 crores, thus making the grand total Rs 195.96 crores at the box office. Interestingly, the film has already hit the 650 crore mark in all languages. The film has collected Rs 651-652 crores. Whereas globally, RRR has raked in Rs 1000 crores which is a huge feat. It looks like Rajamouli’s RRR is taking the Baahubali route as it is turning out to be a blockbuster.

Friday – Rs 13.25 crores

Saturday – Rs 17.25 crores

Sunday – Rs 20.75 crores

Monday – Rs 6.75 crores

Tuesday – Rs 6 crores

TOTAL – Rs 195.96 crores

By adding today’s collection, RRR will cross the 200 crore mark. Now, the film is already making it big in its second week and it would be interesting to watch how the film collects in the third week as three highly anticipated films will be releasing on the same day. Films like KGF 2, Jersey and Beast will be releasing on April 14.
