RRR box office: Ram Charan, Jr NTR starrer gets a good push on Gudi Padwa as it crosses 150 crore mark

Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR seems to be unstoppable at the box office. The film is seeing no boundaries and no other films as it is marching towards the 200 crore mark. The SS Rajamouli’s director venture has already crossed the 150 crore mark on day 8, now, speaking about the latest collections of RRR, the film has now collected Rs 17 crores on the second Saturday at the box office. The grand total of the film is said to be Rs 162 crores. 

The jump was around 30% on the second Saturday which is very good for a film that is doing huge numbers in mass pockets. It seems like the Gudi Padwa festival has acted as an added boost to the film. As per the report in Box Office India, with the latest trends, the film is going to be the highest-grossing film in some circuits after Rajamouli’s all-time blockbuster film, Bahubali – The Conclusion starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati.

Day 1 – Friday: Rs 19 crores 

Day 2 – Saturday: Rs 24 crores 

Day 3 – Sunday: Rs 31.50 crores 

Day 4 – Monday: Rs 16.75 crores 

Day 5 – Tuesday: Rs 15.25 crores 

Day 6 – Wednesday: Rs 13.50 crores 

Day 7 – Thursday: Rs 11.75 crores

Day 8 — Friday: Rs 13.50 crores

Day 9 — Saturday: Rs 17 crores 

Total — Rs 162 crores

Meanwhile, the film should also show good growth and good business on Sunday. The second weekend should cross the 50 crore nett mark which very few films have managed to do before. With John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Attack coming in this Friday, it is also to be seen how the film holds up in the third week.
