Runway 34 Box Office: Ajay Devgn directorial witnesses growth in Day 3 collections

The movie Runway 34 had a dull first weekend at the box office. However, the Ajay Devgn directorial has witnessed growth in the Day 3 collections. The film was released in theatres on April 29, Friday, and had opened with a decent collection of 3 crore nett. Runway 34 has made a decent collection so far, at the box office. The Ajay Devgn directorial, features Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay himself, playing the role of Captain Vikrant Khanna.

A Box Office India report said that Runway 34 has fared poorly over the first weekend. However, the report mentioned that the movie had a better trajectory than the Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria starrer Heropanti 2, which was released in theatres on the same day. The movie made a collection of 5.50 crore nett on the first Sunday. So far, the Ajay Devgn directorial has raked a total collection of 13 crore within three days of its release.

According to the report, “Runway 34 has also fared poorly over the first weekend but it had a better trajectory than Heropanti 2 and finally went ahead of that film on Sunday. The weekend trajectory keeps the film in the race to get some collections over the Eid period but where do you go after a weekend which is just 13 crore nett.”

Day 1 – Friday – 3,00,00,000 apprx

Day 2 – Saturday – 4,50,00,000 apprx

Day 3 – Sunday – 5,50,00,000 apprx

TOTAL – 13,00,00,000 apprx

As per the report, “It is certain to beat Heropanti 2 but that is hardly any consolation and like Heropanti 2 this films also needs a mircale over the Eid period but you probably give it more chance than Heropanti 2 to get that mircale. The collections of Runway 34 are as follows.”

Meanwhile, Bollywood Bubble gave the movie Runway 34 a rating of three stars.
