Sam Bahadur box office: Vicky Kaushal starrer maintains strong hold, collects Rs 3.5 crores on Day 5

Vicky Kaushal is receiving rave response for his role of Sam Manekshaw in his latest outing Sam Bahadur. With a constant positive word–of–mouth the movie is garnering great footfalls even during the weekdays. On Tuesday, Day 5, Sam Bahadur remained steady at the box office and collected Rs 3.5 crores.

The Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur witnessed a good opening on its first day as it minted Rs.6.25 crores at the box office following an upward trend on Day 2 with Rs.9 crores. With this, the movie continues to grow as it minted Rs.10.3 crore on day 3. Talking about Day 4 and Day 5, it remained steady and collected Rs 3.5 crores on respective days. The total collection of movie stands at Rs 32.55 crores. With this, the biographical drama has emerged as Vicky’s third highest grosser after URI: The Surgical Strike (Rs 245.36 crores) and Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (Rs 88 crores).

About Sam Bahadur

The Meghna Gulzar directed biographical drama also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in pivotal roles. It revolved around the life of army office Sam Manekshaw whose valour was acknowledged during 1971 Indo-Pak war and was first Indian who rose to the rank of Field Marshal. In the movie, Fatima essays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi while Sanya plays Manekshaw’s wife.
