Sam Bahadur box office: Vicky Kaushal starrer shows an upward trend, collects Rs 9 crores on Day 2

Vicky Kaushal astounded everyone with the way he imbibed the character of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. All his hard work came for the box office test on December 1 as Sam Bahadur released this Friday. And after a good day 1, the film has showed good growth on Day 2.

Vicky’s film had a good opening day as it collected Rs 6.25 crores at the box office. Now, on Day 2, it showed an upward trend and collected Rs 9 crores. The growth shows the connection of the audience to the film. Even the word-of-mouth has been quite good around Sam Bahadur, and that also helped the film grow on the second day. With the love of the fans pouring in increasing capacity by the day, a double digit first Sunday is now expected. The film will mostly cross Rs 25 crores in the first weekend.

What makes the collections more impressive is that Sam Bahadur has held its position strong even amidst the box office storm of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal. The Vicky starrer has garnered rave reviews from all over. It also features Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and is directed by Meghna Gulzar .
