‘Secret Superstar’ and ‘Golmaal Again’ hold strong on Monday at the BO

Aamir Khan’s movie ‘Secret Superstar’ held quite well on Monday as it collected approximately Rs 3 crore nett. Even though the drop is evident, yet it is financially not a hit as Aamir Khan being the producer of the movie did not charge his fee as an actor. So, the total five day collection starting from Thursday until Monday is Rs 33.75 crore nett. Talking about its performance, the metro audience hasn’t thronged the theatres to watch movie in large numbers. Going by the current trend, it seems that the extended first week can close on approximately Rs 40 crore nett. This is good for the film as it was made on a small budget of Rs 15 Crores and has already emerged a hit at the box office.

Talking about Rohit Shetty’s comic caper ‘Golmaal Again’, the movie has had a fantastic hold on Monday as it has collected around Rs 15 crore nett. That takes its four day business to Rs 102.85 crore nett. The movie has performed really well in Mumbai.
