Dunki Worldwide Box Office collections: Shah Rukh Khan starrer continues to soar, mints over Rs 157 crores in 3 days

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki has hit the theatres and is creating a storm at the box office. Dunki marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani. Given that Shah Rukh Khan has delivered hits with Pathaan and Jawan, his recently released Dunki is also ruling hearts. Dunki has already crossed Rs.100 crores at the global box office and it is continuing its exceptional run.

Dunki is not only performing exceptionally well at the domestic box office, but is roaring at the global markets too. Given the current numbers, Dunki grabbed the advantage of the weekend and the numbers of the same are proof. Dunki has now crossed Rs.150 crores at the worldwide box office and has earned Rs.157.22 crores.

The Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki brings together a tale of love, friendship and longing for home. Dunki tells a story of Donkey flight and of homecoming too. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the movie also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal among others in pivotal roles.

In an event, Shah Rukh Khan spoke about the meaning of Dunki. He said,“Dunki is an illegal trip a lot of people take to get out of their country across borders all over the world. It’s called Donkey travels. Humare desh se bhi bahot saare log gaye, doosre desho se bhi jaate hai. So, it deals about going out, finding a future for yourself but loving your home the most. So, it’s about homecoming. Ye ghar me wapis aane ki baat hai. Ki duniya me kahi par bhi jee lo, lekin dil me ye hota hai ki apni maati par aakar rest karo, wahi par reh jao. So that’s the film about.”

We, at Bollywood Bubble gave Dunki movie 4/5 stars. A part of our review read, “It is Shah Rukh Khan supremacy that is written all over it. After delivering action-packed roles in Jawan and Pathaan, SRK plays a subdued character in Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial venture.”
