Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Raees’ makes a record in Gulf

Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Raees’ has not just taken box office by storm in India, but it has done great business on day one in overseas as well. The movie has got the highest opening ever in Gulf for a film that has released midweek and that too on a non-holiday. Even in Australia the film has done exceptionally well.

‘Raees’ collected $500,000 on day one in Gulf, in Australia the collection is Au$180,000, and in United Kingdom it collected £125,000. The collection overseas it very good, and we can expect it to grow over the weekend.

Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’ has collected $150,000 in Gulf, Au$35,000 in Australia and £30,000 in United Kingdom. Even the Sanjay Gupta directorial is expected to show a jump over the weekend.

Well, in India Shah Rukh Khan-starrer is leading at the box office, but Hrithik Roshan-starrer too is giving a tough competition despite having the lesser number of screens.
