Shehzada box office: Kartik Aaryan starrer sees no growth on day 2

Actor Kartik Aaryan starrer Shehzada which was released on February 17 started on a low note. The film didn’t collect as much as it was expected. According to the Box Office India report, Shehzada collected Rs 6.50 crores on day 2; however, the movie showed 15% growth at the box office. 

The movie has collected Rs 12.25 crores in total which is not a decent number as well. Shehzada is also facing serious competition from Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania which shows significant growth on Maha Shivratri. Given the fact it is a Marvel movie, the driving factor for the film is easily helping the business of the movie.

Day 1 – Friday – Rs 5.75 crores 

Day 2 – Saturday – Rs 6.50 crores

TOTAL – Rs 12.25 crores 

Meanwhile, after the release of Shehzada, Kartik Aaryan shared a video on social media and thanked the fans for the love. He wrote, “Aapki Taaliyan Aur Seetiyan This is what we live for”. His movie trailer was also released on Burj Khalifa. Sharing the video, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor wrote, “Feeling like a Shehzada .. on Top of the world, literally #BurjKhalifa.”

Bollywood Bubble gave 3.5 stars to Rohit Dhawan’s directorial venture. A part of the review read, “Shehzada must be enjoyed to the fullest instead of comparing it with the original one or trying to find sense. Rohit Dhawan brings a fully out-and-out entertaining movie that offers all the emotions from laughter to action to joy. Apart from that, Kartik Aaryan is the heart of the film and demands attention. As I have said before, Shehzada is a full masala entertainer.”
