Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer action dhamaka ‘Simmba’ is off to a rocking start and has managed to collect around 22 crores on its first day. Even after receiving a mixed response from critics, the Rohit Shetty directorial is racing ahead full speed. It seems like Ranveer Singh, who started the year with ‘Padmaavat’, is all set to end 2018 too with a bang.
As per Box-Office India reports, the movie has recorded a massive opening in the Mumbai circuit and has reportedly collected around Rs. 22 crores. Trade analysts predict that it is quite possible that the action-packed film (that also stars Ajay Devgn in a cameo) will cross the Rs 100 crore mark in 3-4 days. ‘Simmba’, that is directed by Rohit Shetty, is all set to reveal Ranveer Singh as the country’s new-age superstar.

So guys Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’ has raked in Rupees 20.72 crore approx on its first day.
‘Simmba’, jointly produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez and Dharma Productions, is the story of a corrupt police officer Sangram Bhalerao aka ‘Simmba’, who has a change of heart when a girl (who he treats as his younger sister) gets raped. The movie was released on 4,000 screens collectively in India and overseas.
The movie also features Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles. This is Sara’s second film after her debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s romantic drama ‘Kedarnath’. The movie, that also featured Sushant Singh Rajput, went on to garner a lot of praise for the spunky star.
