Sooraj Pancholi’s ‘Hero’ collects Rs 21.20 cr in opening weekend

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan‘s first full-fledged home production Hero had opened to a reasonable opening. It had minted around 6.86 crores at the box office on the first day of its release. But over the weekend the movie has started gaining its foothold by minting around 21.20 crores now.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,

#Hero has a GOOD opening weekend, with biz stabilising on Sunday. Fri 6.85 cr, Sat 6.62 cr, Sun 7.73 cr. Total: ₹ 21.20 cr. India biz.

Salman Khan has tried all methods of promoting the film, he even gave out autographed tickets to lure his fans to the theater. Directed by Nikhil Advani, ‘Hero’ released on September 11.
