Released on August 15, Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana starrer Stree 2 has impressed millions not only in India but globally too. The film – which was released alongside Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa, has now added another feature to its box office cap. As per the recent box office data, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 has beat Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. After 5 strong weeks at the box office, the Amar Kaushik directorial has amassed a massive total of Rs 586 croreand become the No 1 Hindi film at the box office. It has achieved this feat by beating Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan’s Hindi language collection of Rs 584 crore.
The Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer has become the highest-grossing Hindi of all time in just 34 days.
Giving Stree 2 a 4-star rating, a part of Bollywood Bubble’s review read, “ It is a fun watch that will have you laughing your heart out from the get-go till the end credit scenes roll by. The film is laced with humour, horror and an interesting story. Though you may assume what’s going to happen next, the film is still captivating thanks to the writing of Niren Bhatt.“
