Stree 2 box office: Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer creates history; becomes the first Hindi film to cross Rs 600 crore mark

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 is riding high as the film is only creating some phenomenal box office records. The film was released on August 15 and is still running in the theatres successfully. As we speak of the box office collections, Stree 2 becomes the first Hindi film to cross the Rs 600 crore mark.

The horror comedy collected Rs 604.22 crore in India in 39 days. However, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan earned Rs 643.87 in 25 days but this includes all the languages. But in the Hindi collection, the action flick earned Rs 582.31 crore in India.

Jawan – ₹ 643.87 crore: crossed ₹ 500 crore mark in 13 days

Animal – ₹ 556.36 crore: crossed ₹ 500 crore mark in 16 days

Pathaan – ₹ 543.05 crore: crossed ₹ 500 crore mark in 22 days

Gadar 2 – ₹ 525.45 crore: crossed ₹ 500 crore mark in 24 days

Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion days: ₹ 510.99 crore: crossed ₹ 500 crore mark in 34 days

Stree 2 – ₹ 502.35 crore: crossed ₹ 500 crore mark in 18 days

Bollywood Bubble gave 4 stars to Stree 2. A part of the review read, “Stree 2 is a fun watch that will have you laughing your heart out from the get-go till the end credit scenes roll by. The film is laced with humour, horror and an interesting story beautifully brought to life. Though you may assume what’s going to happen next, the film is still captivating thanks to the writing of Niren Bhatt. The film would definitely have gotten a 0.5 more had the second half been as entertaining as the first.”
