As per the latest reports, Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2 has successfully capitalised on this extended weekend and is drawing in audiences in droves. The film saw a significant surge in its numbers from Day 2 to Day 3 with fans all across India heading to cinema halls to catch the horror-comedy spectacle.

Wednesday (previews) – Day 1: Rs 9.40 crore

Thursday – Day 1: Rs 55.40 crore

Friday – Day 2: Rs 35.30 crore

Titled Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank, the comedy-horror is directed by Amar Kaushik, written by Niren Bhatt, and produced jointly by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The film sees Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana reprising their roles from the 2018 film. Bollywood Bubble gave the film a 4-star rating.
