Rajkummar and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree’ took everyone by surprise as it made people laugh as well as scared them in equal measures. The film also opened up to some rave reviews at the box office.
Ever since its release, the film has been going strong at the box office. After crossing the 30 crore mark in its first weekend, ‘Stree’ which is in its second week is still minting money. According to trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh, in its second week, the film earned approximately 4.39 crore on Friday, 7.63 crore on Saturday, 9.88 crore on Sunday and 3.31 crore on Monday.
Thereby the total collection of ‘Stree’ at the box-office so far is Rs. 85.60 crore. Which is a very good amount considering the fact that very few horror-comedy films have been able to achieve this feat at the box office. So going by the figures, we can say that very soon the film might even cross the 100 crore mark at the box office.

Also, the films that released last Friday, ‘Laila Majnu’ and ‘Paltan’ failed to bring the masses to the theatres. So this fact might have worked in ‘Stree’s favour.
Reportedly, this Amar Kaushiks directorial could have done more business, however, owing to the Bharat Bandh yesterday, its collection got affected.
