‘Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior’: Ajay Devgn starrer sets the box-office on fire on Day 3

Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior’ released with Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chhapaak’ on January 10. The former received positive reviews from the critics and even audiences are lauding the film. On Day 1, the movie minted Rs 15.10 crore at the box-office. On Saturday, it saw growth and on Sunday the collection jumped and it pocketed Rs 26.08 crore. The total collection of ‘Tanhaji’ stands at Rs 61.75 crore.

Trade analyst and film critic, Taran Adarsh shared the box-office collection of ‘Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior’. Directed by Om Raut, ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior‘ is based on the life of Tanhaji Malusare, who was the military leader of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The movie also had Kajol, Saif Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar, and Luke Kenny in pivotal roles.

Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chhapaak’ is facing a tough competition with the Ajay Devgn starrer as the former is a social drama and the latter is a commercial one.
