The Great Indian Family vs Sukhee Day 1 box office: Vicky Kaushal and Shilpa Shetty starrers witness an underwhelming start

Vicky Kaushal’s film The Great Indian Family released in theatres on 22 September along with Shilpa Shetty’s Sukhee. Unfortunately, both the films saw slow start at the box office.

Vicky Kaushal starrer The Great Indian Family and Shilpa Shetty starrer Sukhee released in theatres on 22 September. But unfortunately, both the films witnessed a poor start at the ticket windows. While the Vicky Kaushal starrer The Great Indian Family earned over Rs 1 crore at the box office, Shilpa Shetty’s film could not even achieve that mark.

As per early estimates, Sonal Joshi’s directorial saw extremely depressing numbers on its first day. The Sonal Joshi directorial did not even mint a crore. According to reports, the movie only managed to earn Rs 0.30 crore on its opening day.

Whereas, Vicky Kaushal starrer The Great Indian Family fared slightly better. The comedy-drama collected around Rs 1.40 crores. The movie has a total occupancy range of 10.09%.

Sukhee review

Bollywood Bubble gave Sukhee 2.5 stars. A part of the review read, “I would call Shilpa Shetty starrer Sukhee a sweet story, but not a tempting one. Yet, the message it tries to convey is something you need to watch. So give it a try, because the film would really leave an impact when seen on the big screen.”
