The Kashmir Files Box Office: The Vivek Agnihotri directorial makes an expectational run

The Kashmir Files has become unstoppable at the box office. The movie has shown a jump of 150% on Saturday and 80% on Sunday. The movie collected 3.25 crore nett on Friday but managed to mint 15 crore nett plus on Sunday.

As per a report by Box Office India, “The collections of the film are now fantastic all over but it is Delhi / UP leading the way with a phenomenal 9 crore nett over the first weekend and the trend in this circuit is that it will be the highest grossing film post the pandemic. In fact in time its likely most circuits could be the top grossers post the pandemic except maybe Mumbai.”

Contributing to the upward trend of The Kashmir Files at the box office are Delhi / UP and East Punjab, with Gujarat / Saurashtra following along. There were also many who could not get their hands on a ticket for Sunday so many advance bookings are in order.

The collections of The Kashmir Files at the box office are:

Friday – 3,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday – 8,25,00,000 apprx

Sunday – 15,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL – 26,50,00,000 apprx

Meanwhile, it is also said that The Kashmir Files is on the way to make history as it is going down the Gadar route. A BOI report said, “At the time of Gadar it was a case of huge crowds at cinemas (the story then was there are 1000 people inside and 3000 people waiting outside to get in) and many not being able to get tickets and the same story is being repeated here with The Kashmir Files.” If the trend remains then The Kashmir Files is on the way to be one of the biggest blockbusters.
