The Kashmir Files Box Office: Anupam Kher starrer has a phenomenal second week

The Kashmir Files has an extraordinary second week at the box office. The Vivek Agnihotri directorial has managed to collect over Rs 100 crore in the second week of its release. The Kashmir Files, which was released on March 11 had opened with a collection of over 3 crores. And now, the Anupam Kher starrer has managed to cross the 200 crore mark in two weeks of its release. Despite the release of other movies such as Bachchhan Paandey starring Akshay Kumar, the Vivek Agnihotri directorial maintained its pace.

A Box Office India report said that the Anupam Kher starrer has managed to rake a collection of 109.50 crore nett in the second week. The movie collections of the second week make it the third-highest second week of all time. The Kashmir Files has now become a crowd-pleaser has made a total collection of 205 crores nett with the second Thursday collection of 7.25 crores nett.

According to the report, the movie is far from the 300 mark, but it can touch the 275 crore mark soon. The report said, “The Kashmir Files had an extraordinary second week of 109.50 crore nett making it the third highest second week of all time. The film has seen drops from Tuesday onward but these are from the pace it was going at before. If we take out how the film went for the first 10-11 days then these drops are normal.”

As per the report, “The collections of the film are now 205 crore nett after 2 weeks and although that 300 crore nett mark looks a step too far now it still has chances to reach the 275 crore nett but a lot depends on what happens on Saturday and Sunday and how RRR fares on the weekend also.”

Meanwhile, the Vivek Agnihotri directorial stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar in key roles.
