The Kashmir Files beats Sooryavanshi’s Monday collections as Anupam Kher starrer pulls off unbelievable on Day 4

The Kashmir Files has surprised everyone and how at the box office. What is more surprising is that the film is giving a tough competition to the Bollywood biggies like Gangubai Kathiawadi and Prabhas, Pooja Hedge starrer Radhe Shyam. The film started on a low-key note but now it is only growing to be bigger. The Kashmir Files is earning big bucks at the box office and that is creating history right now. Speaking about Vivek Agnihotri’s directorial venture, the film had a phenomenal business on Monday as it has even beaten Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi first Monday collections.

Well, talking about The Kashmir Files Monday collections, the film has minted Rs 15.05 crores on day 4 at the box office, thus bringing the grand total to Rs 42.20 crores. Going by the latest trends, the film is now set to cross the 50 crore mark. Considering that films usually get a lukewarm response on Mondays, The Kashmir Files surprised us all as it has beaten Sooryavanshi which collected Rs 14.51 crores on Monday at the box office.

Not just Rohit Shetty directorial venture, the intense drama has also surpassed the Monday collections of Gangubai Kathiawadi (Rs 8.19 crores) Ranveer Singh starrer 83 (Rs 7.29 crores). Also, pre-COVID times, The Kashmir Files exceeded the Monday collections of Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (Rs 13.75 crores) and Vicky Kaushal starrer URI: The Surgical Strike (Rs 10.51 crores)
